A timetable arranges classes by subject, day, period, room and teacher, and underpins attendance and grade management.

Tying attendance and grades to each class session keeps information consistent.
It requires adjustment to avoid room and teacher conflicts.
At universities and vocational schools it is built each term by assigning a course, teacher and room to each day and period (コマ), checking for clashes between teachers, rooms and students and for room capacity.
When make-up or cancelled lessons change the schedule, keeping attendance tied to the same class keeps attendance rates correct.

Classio’s timetable auto-generation places classes without teacher, student or room clashes, within room capacity and teachers’ available days. It is rule-based calculation, not AI. Approved registrations become the attendance and grade lists.
