  1. Send (Students and Guardians)
  2. Sharing with the academic office
  3. Reply (homeroom teacher)

Message to homeroom teacher (担任への連絡・相談) lets Students and Guardians contact the homeroom teacher. Replies and the outcome stay in one history, and, depending on the school's setting, academic administrators and administrators can also read it.

  1. Open Requests (申請・相談) in the Communication (連絡) area and press New request or question (新しい申請・相談).

  2. Choose the student, then the type Message to homeroom teacher.

  3. You see which teacher receives it and how the academic office is involved. Enter a subject and message and send.

If no homeroom teacher is registered, it goes to the academic office. You are notified when a reply arrives.

The school chooses one of these in School rules (学校のルール) › Student service (学生対応ルール):

SettingWhen academic administrators and administrators can read it
Always shareFrom the moment it is sent
Share only when unanswered (default)When the teacher has not replied within the set time (24 hours by default)

When a message is shared because it went unanswered, the sender is told. In Always share mode, the teacher and office get a reminder when there is no reply. The time is fixed when the message is sent.

A teacher's Requests screen shows only the messages sent to them.

  1. Open a message from the list.

  2. Write and send a reply. The first reply means it is no longer unanswered.

  3. When done, set the status to Resolved (完了), write the outcome and save.

Academic administrators and administrators reassign messages. These messages are answered here; they do not become office tasks or formal procedures.
