Suggest assignments (自動提案) on the booking board proposes who teaches with which car. A suggestion books nothing by itself: when you apply it, the lesson rules and availability are checked again before the booking is made.
What it covers
Trainees on the waiting list (a date and the periods they can come)
Lesson slots that already have a booking but still miss an instructor or a car
Confirmed bookings and instructors or cars already assigned are never changed.
How to use it
On the booking board, choose the day and press Suggest assignments.
Choose This day or 7 days from this day, then Make suggestions.
Each suggestion shows the time, instructor and car and why that pair was chosen.
Tick the ones to keep and press Apply.
Suggestions that could not be applied are listed with the reason (for example, someone else booked the slot in the meantime).
What every suggestion respects
| Item | Rule |
|---|---|
| Lesson rules | The trainee's stage, the daily practical limit, no three consecutive periods, the training deadline and the rest (the same checks as a booking) |
| Instructor | Holds a valid instructor qualification for the licence class on that date and has no other lesson at that time |
| Shifts | On a day the school records shifts, only instructors on shift at that time are used |
| Daily periods | The school's daily limit per instructor, if set (lessons at a group school count too) |
| Car | Usable for the licence class and in service (cars in maintenance are not used), free in that period |
How the better pair is chosen
The trainee's previous instructor first (continuity).
Work spread evenly across instructors.
AT cars for AT-only trainees.
Open slots before opening new ones.
Trainees nearest their training deadline, then the oldest requests, go first.
When swapping the instructors or cars of two suggestions in the same period gives a better result, the swapped result is shown.
When nothing fits
Waiting trainees with no possible pair are listed under could not be placed, with the reason (no free instructor, no free car, the daily limit and so on).
