When implementing Classio, following the implementation milestones in the Implementation workspace (導入ワークスペース) helps you avoid gaps and rework. The milestones are, in order: Institution profile (学校基本設定), Departments and campuses (学科・キャンパス), Staff and access (教職員・権限), Data migration (データ移行), LINE and notifications (LINE・通知), Report acceptance (帳票受入), User training (利用者研修) and Go-live decision (稼働判定).

  1. Open Settings home (設定ホーム) and check your current plan and the settings pages available to you.

  2. In Institution settings (機関設定), register the official institution name, school and campus names, portal display name, logo, brand color and notification sender name, then press Save changes (変更を保存). Only administrators can change this screen.

  3. In Education profile (教育プロファイル), check that the school's operating family (運用ファミリー), programs and so on are correct.

  4. In Terminology (用語のカスタマイズ), adjust the words shown on screen to match your school's usage. For details, see Change the words shown on screen to match your school.

  5. Create staff accounts and send invitation emails. To register several people at once, use Staff bulk registration (職員一括登録). Sent invitations can be checked and resent in Invitations (招待管理). For details, see Invite staff and students, and check invitation status.

  6. Migrate existing data. First check the files' required columns in Import review (取込レビュー) in Data import and export (データ取込・出力); then register departments with Department CSV import (学科CSVインポート) on the same screen, and students with Bulk import (一括インポート) in the Students (学生) area. For details, see Prepare and check imports of existing data, and view export records.

  7. After importing students, reconcile the number of records in the source data with the number registered in the Import reconciliation center (取込照合センター), deal with exception rows, and then record the acceptance sign-off.

  8. In Domains & email (ドメイン・メール), set the reply-to email address that receives replies from guardians and students, and open the link in the confirmation email to activate it.

  9. As you make progress, update each milestone's status (Not started, In progress, Blocked, Complete or Confirmed), deadline, and completion evidence and handover notes in the Implementation workspace, then press Save (保存).

  10. Before going live, an administrator checks in Launch readiness (ローンチ確認) that the required settings, integrations and data preparation are all in place.

Usage in the early stage of implementation can be checked in Pilot adoption (パイロット定着分析) in the Reports (レポート) area. The invitation completion rate and the number of staff using Classio each week help you find departments that need training.

Activating a new version of the Education profile does not automatically convert existing student, subject, department, grade or timetable records to the new version. It is safest to finalize these settings before importing data.
