  1. Create and send a bulletin
  2. Track acknowledgement status
  3. What recipients do

In Bulletins & Safety (連絡・安全確認), you send bulletins to recipients and see in one place who has read them and who has acknowledged the content. Bulletins are created by staff. Students and guardians read the bulletins they receive and respond to those that require acknowledgement.

  1. Open Bulletins & Safety (連絡・安全確認) and press Create bulletin (お知らせを作成).

  2. Enter the title and body, and choose the category and priority. If needed, use saved wording with Fill from a template (テンプレートから入力).

  3. Choose How to choose recipients (配信先の指定方法). By filters (条件で指定) narrows recipients by role, campus, department, year and class section; fields left unselected are not used to filter. Individuals or a saved group (個別・グループで指定) lets you choose students one by one or use a saved delivery group. The bulletin goes to the selected students and their guardians.

  4. Choose LINE and email in Delivery channels (配信チャネル). LINE is selected by default. People who cannot be reached by LINE are sent an email instead. Even if you choose neither, the bulletin still reaches recipients' Notification center (通知センター). If a recipient has set Quiet hours (静音時間帯), LINE and push notifications reach them when those hours end; bulletins in the Safety and emergency (安全・緊急) category arrive straight away, even during quiet hours. For how each channel works, see How notifications are delivered (in-app, browser notifications, Classio app, LINE and email).

  5. If recipients must confirm the content, turn on Require explicit acknowledgement (明示確認を必須にする) and set an Acknowledgement deadline (確認期限).

  6. Press Publish and deliver (公開・配信). The recipients are fixed at the moment of publishing.

The body, recipients and acknowledgement conditions of a published bulletin cannot be changed afterward. Check the content and recipients carefully before sending.

  1. When you open a bulletin from the list, staff who can manage bulletins see the numbers of recipients, read, acknowledged, unread, awaiting acknowledgement and overdue, along with each recipient's status.

  2. For a bulletin that requires acknowledgement, press Remind pending recipients (未確認者へ再通知) if anyone has not acknowledged. For other bulletins, press Remind N who have not read it (未読の方 N名に再通知) to send a gentle "a notice you have not opened yet" message (held until quiet hours end). People who were just reminded are not reminded again until an hour has passed.

  3. To contact people individually, for example by phone, export the Unread call list (CSV) (未読者リスト(CSV)). Phone numbers and emails are included only for guardians of students whose contacts you may see (Access to personal data and the access log).

People who have not acknowledged by the deadline are reminded automatically, and administrators and academic administrators are also notified of the number of overdue recipients.

Opening a bulletin marks it as read, and so does opening its notification in the notification center. People who use a display language other than Japanese receive bulletins translated (including LINE and email) when your school has turned on automatic translation; Show original (原文を表示) shows the Japanese. For bulletins marked Acknowledgement required (確認必須), read the content and press Acknowledge (確認しました). For bulletins with a survey, answer from Answer the survey (アンケートに回答).

To attach a survey to a bulletin, press Attach a survey (アンケートを付ける) in the bulletin's details to go on to create a Guardian survey (保護者アンケート).
