A badge is a digital certificate in which the school confirms a course completion, a passed qualification and similar achievements.

  1. In Badges, press New badge (新しいバッジ).

  2. Enter a name, description and criteria. Without an image, the type's standard design is used. An uploaded image can be saved once its safety check finishes.

  3. Optionally set a validity in months; students are reminded 30 and 7 days before it ends.

  4. Under Issue automatically when, choose a course or qualification to issue the badge automatically to students who complete that course or pass that qualification.

Edit changes badges issued from then on; badges already issued keep their contents. Stop issuing stops new issues only.

  1. Press Issue on a badge.

  2. Search for and add students; several at once is fine.

  3. Optionally add an evidence URL and note, then press Issue.

Teachers can issue only to students of their classes or homeroom. Students who already hold a valid badge are skipped and listed in the result.

Holders lists valid, expired and revoked badges. Administrators and Academic administrators can revoke with a reason; the reason stays in the school's records, and the public page shows only “revoked” and the date. The student is notified.

Students see their badges in My badges (マイバッジ) and share them with Copy link. The linked page shows the issuing school, issue date, expiry and whether the badge is valid, expired or revoked.
