  1. Request leave
  2. Approve requests (Administrator, Academic administrator)
  3. Withdraw a request

Staff request leave from Leave requests (休暇申請). Requests automatically go to Approvals (電子決裁), where an administrator or academic administrator approves or rejects them. When the school has set an approval flow for leave, its approvers decide in turn (Decide your school's approval flows (who approves, and in what order)). You cannot approve your own request. The requester is notified of the result.

  1. Open Leave requests (休暇申請) and press Request leave (休暇を申請).

  2. Enter the type (paid, sick, special, unpaid, or business trip), start date, end date and reason. For a business trip, also enter the destination.

  3. The number of days can be entered in half-day units. If you leave it blank, the number of days from the start date to the end date (including Saturdays and Sundays) is calculated automatically.

  4. Press Submit (申請する).

You cannot submit a request if you already have a request under review or approved for the same period. To use Leave requests, you must be registered as a staff member.

  1. Open the Awaiting approval (承認待ち) tab in Approvals (電子決裁).

  2. Check the leave request and press Approve (承認) or Reject (否決).

  3. The requester is notified of the result, and the status in Leave requests changes to Approved (承認) or Rejected (否決).

You can withdraw a request that is under review with Withdraw (取り下げ) in the list. Withdrawing also cancels the approval flow in Approvals.

On the Leave requests screen, administrators, academic administrators and executives can see the requests of all staff; everyone else can see only their own requests.
