  3. How this differs from cancelling

Classio has two ways to move a lesson, and they have different names. Both are done from the Bookings & make-ups (予約・振替) screen.

Make-up lesson (振替)Reschedule (日時を変更)
WhenAfter missing a lesson, to retake it in another lessonTo move a booked lesson to another time in advance
How to startReport absence (欠席連絡) for the lesson, then Book make-up (振替を予約)Choose the new time from Reschedule on the booking
Main conditionsAbsence notice deadline, make-up deadline, monthly limitUp to a set time before the lesson starts, up to a limit on the number of changes
Times you can chooseDepending on the course, the same teacher's lessons or any lesson with spaceOpen slots with the same teacher

When you report an absence, it is decided whether the absence carries a make-up entitlement. If you reported it by the deadline and are within the make-up deadline, you can choose a time from Book make-up. For details, see From reporting an absence to booking a make-up lesson.

A booked lesson can be moved to another open slot with the same teacher, up to a set time before it starts. There is a limit on how many times you can reschedule, and the screen shows the limit (上限) and the number used (使用).

To cancel a booking, use Cancel (取消). If you cancel by the deadline, the lesson is added back to your count. A cancellation after the deadline uses up the set number of lessons.

The specific conditions, such as times and numbers of lessons, are set by the school for each course and shown at the top of the screen.
