Find a classroom (教室さがし) is a list for families of juku, lesson and other schools that use Classio and choose to list themselves (classio.jp/schools). Families search by prefecture, type and age group, and book a trial lesson straight from the classroom's page. Listing is free, and there is no fee per trial request.

  1. Open "Classroom listing".

  2. Enter the classroom name, a one-line introduction (up to 120 characters) and a description (up to 2,000 characters). In the description, say what parents want to know: how lessons work, the teachers, typical fees and the atmosphere.

  3. Choose up to five types and who the classroom is for.

  4. Enter the prefecture, city or ward, nearest station and website. The street address is shown only when "Show the address on the listing" is ticked.

  5. Press "Save". "How it looks in the list" on the right shows what families will see.

After saving, press "List". The first time, the listing terms are shown: read them and press "Agree and list". While listed, saved changes appear on the listing straight away. "Stop listing" removes the classroom from the list and its page at once.

These badges are not typed by the classroom; they come from your Classio settings.

  • Book a trial online: shown when courses are set up in Lessons; "Book a trial" on the listing opens your trial form.

  • School bus: shown when a School bus route is running. See Set up the school bus and tell families stop by stop.

  • Child safety certification: shown when Child safety is set to publish the certification; the number and date appear as text. The certification mark is never shown.

The list is sorted by area and then name; nobody can pay to be higher. If the content is inaccurate or inappropriate, the Classio team may hide the listing. The reason then appears on this screen, and the listing cannot be switched on until it is fixed.

Only classrooms that use Classio for lessons (塾・習い事) can be listed.
