Certificates (証明書発行) handles certificates of enrollment, academic transcripts, certificates of expected graduation, graduation certificates, attendance certificates and fee payment certificates. Every certificate goes through checks and preview, approval, and release, in that order.

  1. In Certificate requests (証明書申請) in the Student portal (学生ポータル), enter the Certificate type (証明書種別) and Purpose (利用目的).

  2. Press Submit (申請する).

  3. The status of the request can be checked in Certificates (証明書発行). When the status becomes Issued (発行済み), the certificate can be downloaded from PDF.

Administrators, academic administrators and registrars do this.

  1. In the Requests (個別申請) tab of Certificates (証明書発行), find requests whose status is Requested (申請中).

  2. Press Check and preview (条件確認・プレビュー). The issuing conditions are checked, and a preview is created that fixes the student information, certificate number and issue date as of that moment.

  3. Check the content in Preview (プレビュー) and press Approve (承認) or Reject (却下). A reason is required to reject.

  4. Once approved, press Release (リリース). The status becomes Issued and the PDF can be received.

Approval and rejection are done by a staff member other than the person who created the request. After release, downloads and verifications of the PDF are recorded in History (履歴).

  • An issued certificate can be invalidated with Revoke (失効). A reason is required.

  • Issued and revoked certificates can be recreated with Request reissue (再発行申請).

  1. In the Batch issuance (一括発行) tab, press Create batch (一括発行を作成).

  2. Add the target students. You can choose up to 100 students from the same campus.

  3. Press Create drafts (下書きを作成) and check the content with Preview all (全件プレビュー).

  4. Press Submit for review (審査提出). Approval is done by a staff member other than the creator and submitter.

  5. Once approved, press Release batch (一括リリース).
