The trash is for cleaning up student, teacher, office staff and guardian records created by mistake, such as duplicate or test registrations. Records moved to the trash keep their data and can be restored at any time. Only administrators can do this.
Do not use the trash for withdrawals or graduations. Handle those as a change to the student's enrollment status.
Move a record to the trash
Press Move to trash (ゴミ箱へ移動) on a row in the Student list (学生一覧), Staff directory (職員一覧) or Guardian list (保護者一覧), or on the student's detail screen.
Check the impact shown (the number of related records, linked guardians and so on).
Choose a reason for deletion. Pick one such as Registered by mistake (誤って登録した) or Registered twice (重複して登録した); students also have Declined to enrol (入学を辞退した) and Registration cancelled (登録を取り消した), teachers and office staff have Never started (着任しなかった), and guardians have Guardian changed (保護者が変わった). Add a note if you like; the note is required when you choose Other (その他). The reason is recorded in the audit log and shown in the Trash list.
Press Move to trash (ゴミ箱へ移動). It stays disabled until you choose a reason.
Once moved, the person's login stops working immediately, and they no longer appear in any list, total or roster.
Restore a record
Open Trash (ゴミ箱) and find the record by type or search.
Press Restore (復元). The record returns to all lists and totals, and a login that was stopped by moving it to the trash works again.
Delete permanently
In Trash (ゴミ箱), press Delete permanently (完全削除) on the record.
Check the related data that will be deleted, type the number or other text shown in the confirmation field, and press Delete permanently (完全に削除する). For staff without an employee number, type their full name.
Permanent deletion cannot be undone. All related data is also deleted. Students with payment records or issued certificates, and teachers linked to classes or grades, cannot be permanently deleted and stay in the trash. Records in the trash are not deleted automatically.
